Most
minerals arrive at Crystal World in a raw state, this
is how they are mined and may be covered in other growths
or foreign materials, they may be still embedded in
the rock they were formed in. It is our job to prepare
these specimens and through our well equipped work rooms
we spend a considerable amount of time preparing and
making more presentable our specimens.
Remember
next time you see a mineral in a display case give some
consideration into the effort that has gone into bringing
it to where it is now, from the miners working deep
underground to the perparators who remove and clean
it from the virgin rock.
